Gastronomy at the GENUSSWERKSTATT
At the GENUSSWERKSTATT, it’s all about the essentials: about food that nourishes and fuels our daily lives. It takes nutrient-rich meat, bread and salad, along with milk, beer and grain brandy, to really fill up our energy tank and leave us thoroughly satisfied. It’s no wonder then, that the GENUSSWERKSTATT has found its home in Lower Saxony, for this is a region that distils grains and grinds mustard, and has understood for centuries that a dish is nothing without salt and there is nothing like mature hops to unlock the full flavour of local spices.
The PS.SPEICHER showcases the work of inventive engineers and imaginative mechanics. Many of them were pioneers, and their bright ideas changed the future of motorsports and humankind.
All this – the fire of the engines, the ingenuity of the inventors and their neverending stream of ideas – has inspired the gourmet chefs of the GENUSSWERKSTATT in their own creations. Their kitchen too is fueled by fire, for cooking is an art that calls for dedication and passion in order to truly inspire. And, not least, for real fire. If you have ever cooked or grilled on an open flame, you will know the power of this cuisine.
Grilled food forms the basis of this cuisine. This is accompanied by crispy flat bread and fresh salads that change with the seasons. Whether in flame-grilled, dry-aged steaks from selected local farmers, fiery mustard seeds from southern Lower Saxony, our impeccable service or refreshingly simple interior design: the place is brimming with energy.
