Einbeck New Year’s Concert

Once a year there is a concert hall license for musical hit lists, for colorful indulgence in evergreen melodies, and even for “Fools' Gallop”. On New Year's Eve and New Year's Day we don't listen to hours of opera, only the best of them. 

Not entire symphonies, but short, cheerful, symphonic dances. Chief conductor Nicholas Milton has put together a program that is never boring for a second.

On the contrary - when soprano Eva Hartová sings as Musetta from Puccini's "La Boheme", as Gilda from Verdi's "Rigoletto" or as Juliette from Gounod's "Roméo et Juliette", goosebumps are guaranteed. In addition, Johann Strauss (son) and other (old) masters of the light muse ensure a real waltz-polka-carnival feeling. Here's to a happy new year!
