The PS.SPEICHER Foundation, based in Einbeck, is a non-profit foundation under civil law. It emerged from the Kornhaus Cultural Foundation, which was established in 2009 to preserve the listed granary and revitalize it as a cultural venue. On January 1, 2021, it was renamed the PS.SPEICHER Foundation to clearly emphasize its sole purpose: the operation and long-term preservation of the PS.SPEICHER Museum and its collections. The PS.SPEICHER Museum is located in the historic granary, built in 1898, which underwent a historically sensitive renovation and modern architectural extension between 2011 and 2014. Today, the foundation presents a fascinating journey through over 200 years of mobility history across six floors and several collections – from bicycles and motorcycles to microcars, automobiles, commercial vehicles, and model vehicles. In addition to the exhibition, the foundation is committed to historic preservation, cultural events, musical promotion, and STEM-related educational projects. It is recognized as an extracurricular learning center and offers workshops and programs for schools and educational institutions. Its goal: to preserve mobility as a cultural asset, impart knowledge, and keep enthusiasm for technology and history alive.

Over 30 permanent employees and more than 70 volunteers work in our own workshops and one of our five locations to ensure that our visitors have an outstanding experience.
Together we have already achieved a lot and built the largest vintage car museum in Europe in Einbeck. But our journey will continue. Because there are still numerous undiscovered stories about mobility to tell.
None of this is possible without long-term support from people and institutions that are committed to the importance of preserving mobility as a cultural asset.
