Brand: Siku

From 1963 onwards, Siku produced metal models using zinc die-casting. The switch from plastic to metal came in response to competitor Matchbox, which had already been producing metal models since 1953.

Using metal made it possible to incorporate opening doors. In 1969, Siku removed the last plastic models from its range.
