Partner Towns in the Historic Weserbergland Region
The “Historic Weserbergland” project
The “Historic Weserbergland” project brings together 16 towns and cities: Bad Münder, Hameln, Hann. Münden, Bückeburg, Stadthagen, Rinteln, Hessisch Oldendorf, Dassel, Stadtoldendorf, Holzminden, Höxter, Einbeck, Bodenwerder, Uslar, Lügde and Bad Pyrmont.
In addition, ten historic sites are part of the network: Lippoldsberg Abbey Church, Pyrmont Castle, Hämelschenburg Castle, Bückeburg Castle, Schaumburg Castle, Fürstenberg Castle, Fischbeck Abbey, Bevern Castle, PS.SPEICHER and the UNESCO World Heritage Fagus Factory.
PS.SPEICHER has been an official partner site of this network since 2020. Participation requires the successful completion of a two-year qualification process.
Under the motto “Traces of time – experience them for real”, Historic Weserbergland brings the stories and history of the region together in engaging visitor experiences.
The project is based on five themed areas: lifelines, cultural paths, paths of faith, gourmet strolls and experience points.
